It’s that time of year again…
And no it’s not Christmas…. It’s the second most popular card giving day next to Christmas
It’s the time when everyone turns mushy, romantic for only 24 hours and then everything goes back to normal – or that’s how it’s seems to be with young couples these days.
Every where in Beirut, all the stores from shoe stores, clothing stores, all down to the local cafe shop is filled with the scent of love in air.
Don’t get me wrong. I love the whole idea of romance, love, and caring for someone more than you would care for yourself. But the problem is why do some people think that love is restricted for this day.
If you love someone, you can’t just love him/her for one day. Love
Won’t it feel great if their was just a bit of change to this day. Although I bet no one would say no to a box of chocolate, with the candle light dinner, and the red roses to top things off. just doesn’t work that way.
But anyways, who am I to judge how people treat their loved ones on this day.
Sending everyone a whole lot of hugs and kisses on this day
And hope that if you have someone you love, remember this
Life is too short to be anything but happy.
So kiss slowly, love deeply, and forgive quickly.
Take chances, give everything, have no regrets,
and forget the bad in the past.
